Tina Stockton

Clinical Herbalist, Holistic Nutritionist, and Wellness Coach

Hi, I’m Tina — a mama of seven, a lover of all things natural, and your guide to living a life of abundant health. My own healing journey brought me here, and now it’s my joy to walk alongside you in yours.

About Tina

Tina Stockton is a Clinical Herbalist, Holistic Nutritionist, and Wellness Coach with over 20 years of experience living and breathing the natural lifestyle.

A proud mother of seven, Tina’s passion for natural healing runs deep — rooted in both personal experience and formal training. She is a graduate of the renowned Holistic Wellness Program at Hill College in Hillsboro, Texas, under the instruction of Dr. Lori Rose, PhD.

Tina has walked her own healing journey, using the power of herbs and nutrition to overcome conditions like PCOS, eczema, psoriasis, whooping cough, influenza, and COVID — proving that what may be common is never something we simply have to

accept. Through Serenity Gardens, she teaches classes, coaches clients, and empowers people every day to take control of their health using God’s gifts of herbs and food. Tina’s warmth, lived wisdom, and genuine love for teaching make her a trusted

guide for anyone ready to step into a life of renewed health and wholeness.

Why I Am Not a Registered Herbalist Through the American Herbalist Guild

You may notice that while I hold formal training as a Clinical Herbalist, I have chosen not to pursue registered status through the American Herbalist Guild (AHG). This is a decision I made thoughtfully and with purpose, and I want to be transparent with you about why.

Herbalism, at its core, is ancient wisdom — a sacred gift woven into creation for the healing of our bodies. My practice is deeply rooted in that truth, and in my faith. I believe that God, not a governing body, is the ultimate authority over natural healing. When the values and direction of an organization drift away from that foundation, I find it important to stand apart — not out of hostility, but out of integrity.

Over time, I became concerned that the AHG had grown increasingly political in its focus and leadership — in ways that I felt were not aligned with my values or the calling I have on my practice. For me, an organization that guides the herbal community should be centered on the plants, the people, and the principles that have grounded natural healing for thousands of years — not on political agendas.

I want to be clear — I do fully qualify to hold the Registered Herbalist (RH) title through the AHG. The decision not to pursue it is not one of inability, but of conscience. My credentials come from rigorous, accredited training under Dr. Lori Rose, PhD, through Hill College’s Holistic Wellness Program.

More than that, they come from over 20 years of lived experience, personal healing, and a genuine love for empowering others. I stand fully behind my knowledge, my practice, and my commitment to serving you well — with God’s guidance leading the way.

OUR LONG TERM VISION

We believe Serenity Gardens can become more than a website, a class, or a collection of resources. We envision a destination where people can reconnect with the things that sustain life.

A place where faith, wellness, education, hospitality, community, and creation come together in meaningful ways.

A place where people can learn practical skills, experience renewal, ask questions, build relationships, and explore wellness from a perspective rooted in stewardship and God's design.

Over time, that vision may include:

• Regenerative gardens and food production

• Medicinal herb gardens

• Educational greenhouses

• Farm-to-table experiences

• Wellness workshops and retreats

• Walking paths and reflection spaces

• Prayer gardens

• Animal-assisted experiences

• Tiny homes or guest cottages

• Community gathering spaces

• Partnerships with aligned practitioners and educators

• Scholarship-supported opportunities for those in need

We know this vision is larger than what exists today.

But every class, every garden bed, every relationship, and every step forward helps bring it closer to reality.

The journey has already begun.

My journey into natural wellness began long before it became my profession. As a mother of seven and someone who has experienced her own healing journey, I learned firsthand the impact that nutrition, herbs, and daily lifestyle choices can have on overall well-being. Today, it is my joy to walk alongside others, sharing what I've learned and helping people discover practical, natural ways to support their health while growing in confidence, hope, and stewardship of the body God has given them.
